Come experience joy and wonder as we light our massive Christmas tree! 🎄


Bring your friends, your family, and your holiday spirit—because there’s something for everyone! From kids laughing while roasting marshmallows to neighbors gathered around hot chocolate, this night is all about joy, community, and celebrating the hope we have in Jesus.


ADMISSION: Attendees are encouraged to bring 1 winter clothing item (hat, scarf, gloves, coat), 1 blanket, or full-size personal care items (body wash, shampoo/conditioner, manicure set, razor & shaving cream, lotion)

Why we celebrate

At Oak Haven, we love bringing our community together—especially at Christmas. This season reminds us that God stepped into our world to bring light, hope, and peace. As we light the tree, we remember the true Light of the world: Jesus.


We’ve also invited 10 charities from our area to our be a part of our vendor fair. We want to use this event as a vehicle to help point people to ways they can volunteer and donate to those in need during the holiday season.

  • What time is the event?

    The event is open at 5:30pm until 8pm, with the actual tree being lit at 6:20.

  • Where is this event?

    On our campus, Oak Haven Church, 1555 Constance BLVD NE Ham Lake, MN 55304

  • Where do I park?

    There is some parking available in our parking lot and additional parking located across Constance BLVD at McKinley Elementary with regular shuttles running to the church.

  • Is this event inside or outside?

    There are activities available both inside and outside

  • What should I wear?

    There are lots of activities both inside and outside, dress for spending some time outside to enjoy the tree, the lights, and the firepits.

  • Is your church ADA accessible?

    We have made sure that our building is accessible for people of all different abilities. We have ramps and an elevator for wheelchairs, braille signs for the visually impaired, and ear plugs for the hearing sensitive.

  • Is this event really free?
