Where Do Kids Fit In?

At Oak Haven we believe that how we receive the little children is how we receive Christ. For that reason, kids are centered in our community.

Sunday Kids meet during our 10am service

NURSERY (Birth-3 years old)

Available starting at 9:50am. Babies and toddlers get to participate in Bible stories, games, singing, and moving to praise the Lord! We use the early childhood WonderInk curriculum, which integrates all learning styles in each week's activities.

PRE-SCHOOL CLASS (3-5 years old)

Starts with their parents in the sanctuary and released after worship. Fun, active, and social learning takes place through Bible lessons, crafts and games. We use Early Childhood WonderInk curriculum to help preschoolers know who God is.

ELEMENTARY (K-5th grades)

Starts with their parents in the sanctuary and released after worship. Faith begins with Wonder! We want to Ignite Curiosity and Inspire Kids to Discover Their Identity in God’s Big Story using a Curriculum called Wonder Ink. Bible stories, worship, small groups, games, crafts and other activities are all part of the fun.

Untangle Your Emotions

What if instead of ignoring our feelings, we noticed them, named them, and let God use them to draw us closer to himself and others? Many of us need to unlearn damaging messages about our emotions. We’ve been taught, for example, that emotions are untrustworthy, when, in fact, God can use them to help us see where we need his healing. In this six-session series, Jennie Allen uses scientific research, biblical insight, and her own story to help you name and navigate your emotions and learn how they can draw you closer to the God who made you—soul, mind, and heart.

Workshop for parents or grandparents (or anyone!) who wants to find out best practices and wisdom for engaging with internet & social media. Speaker is Tyler Roland, worship leaders are Raegan and Liam Jensen.
