The
Senior High youth group is made up of 9-12th grade students.
Our students come from many high schools including
Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Forest Lake, Meadow Creek, Moundsview,
PACT Charter School, and St. Francis. We meet each Sunday
from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. From September to May, we
also gather on Wednesday nights from 6:45 PM to 8:15
PM.
The
purpose of this ministry is to encourage high school
students to enjoy great times together while honoring
God, growing as committed disciples of Jesus Christ,
and reaching beyond our walls to care for people with
a global perspective.
The
senior high leadership team at Oak Haven Church is committed
to building a youth group that not only grows together
in a loving community, but one that is involved in the
entire church community.
Everyone
has different interests. We have something for almost
everyone! If you're musical, we have 2 excellent youth
worship bands. If you're analytical, we have biblically-based
discussions on a regular basis. If you like adventure,
camping or retreats, we do events like these as well.
If you enjoy going a little deeper, we have a
Monday night Bible study that meets in a home each week.
You
may want to come just to meet our youth leaders. They
are a lot of fun and they model Christ's love in their
own lives. All Senior High students are welcome.
