Light House
is made up of 6th-8th grade students. Our
goal is to create a fun and safe space where students
can Discover God, Connect with
other Christians, Grow in faith, Develop
their gifts, and Love God
with their lives.
.We meet
every Wednesday night from 6:45-8:15pm.
Each week we meet as a large group at Oak Haven
Church, in the middle school room. We enjoy crazy games, music, creative lessons, and hanging
out with cool leaders and friends
However, on
the Second and Fourth Wednesdays of each month
we also break into small home groups. On these weeks, students will meet at church briefly before moving on to their host home. Each small group is made up of 6-10 students of the same grade and gender, along with two adult leaders.
Most groups will gather in homes near church but some will meet at the Church. This is a great time to get
to know people better and to dig a little deeper into
God's Word!
We
also offer Sunday School classes every
Sunday morning at 9:45am-10:45am.
This year, the 6th grade class will be taking a tour
through the Old Testament, the 7th grade class will
be cruising through the New Testament, and the 8th grade
class will be learning the "Foundations of our
Faith." The 8th graders will also attend
a study retreat in April as well!
Not
only do we learn a lot of cool stuff, but
we also do a ton of fun stuff! Here
are just some of the things you might experience:
Camping trips, Valley Fair, State Fair, Movie nights,
Game nights, Community Service Projects, Retreats, Snow
tubing, Watergames, Broomball Tournaments, Lock-Ins,
Summer Mission Trips, etc.
We hope you will come

a place for everyone at Light House!
