A
unique opportunity for 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade boys
is the availability Stockade ministry at Oak Haven Church. A key feature
of Stockade is the concept of "men discipling boys,"
which provides many boys, especially those in single
parent homes, an experience they might not otherwise
have.
Stockade
boys play games together, enjoy using tools to make
crafts, and learn Bible truths during "Post Time"
and "Council Time" on a weekly basis, as well
as participate in annual events, such as a Pinewood
Derby Race and Rocket Shoot. Overnight camping trips,
sledding parties, and other outings provide recreational
fun and times for building relationships with God and
others.
Stockade meets every Wednesday night during the school
year from 6:45p.m. to 8:15p.m.
Stockade is a part of the Christian Service Brigade club ministry. |
