Acorn Academy offers children a unique opportunity to develop skills and explore interests at their own pace through a creative learning center approach. Learning centers include: Math, Language Arts, Writing, Science, Dramatic Play, Art, Free Art, Easel, Blocks, Sensory, Games, Manipulatives, and Books. The curriculum rotates on a 3 year cycle, insuring diversity for returning students. In addition to the carefully designed learning activities, an atmosphere of caring acceptance will maximize your child's potential for social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth. Interaction and experimentation are encouraged.
The teachers at Acorn Academy are followers of Jesus Christ. Consequently, they will attempt to model Christian values at all times. They will use the Bible to present Christian truths and principles to children through story and discussion. Children will learn that God loves them unconditionally and that He wants to have a relationship with each one of them through His Son, Jesus.
