Trout Lake Camp
Being able to participate in a variety of camping experiences
is just one more of the great privileges enjoyed by
Oak Haven attenders!
Oak
Haven is a part of a network of churches who support
ministry at TROUT LAKE CAMP, a beautiful and well-equipped
Christian facility situated on one of the clearest lakes
in the Whitefish Chain located near Brainerd, Minnesota.
At Trout Lake, campers can choose among many fun activities:
horseback riding, swimming, sailing, canoeing, riflery,
archery, team sports, arts and crafts, and rocketry,
to name just a few.
Middle
school and senior high students may also mountain bike,
water-ski, sail, and be challenged on the low and high
ropes course elements. Learning life-long skills such
as these, and building friendships that last for years
to come are two rewarding outcomes for those who come
to Trout Lake.
Most
importantly, the staff at Trout Lake Camp consistently
strives to create and maintain a safe and caring environment
where individuals can come to know Jesus Christ as personal
Savior, and grow in their understanding of His love
for them.
During
the summer months, there are a variety of weeks of camp for kids
of every age level: Primary (1st - 3rd grade); Juniors
(4th-6th grade); Young Teens (6th - 8th grade);
and Senior High. And, special FAMILY CAMPS provide a summer adventure for every
member of the family!
At
other time of the year, there are weekend retreats for
middle and senior high youth, families, and other special
groups.
