Membership Classes

As incredible and wonderful as you are, you were never made to be an individual Christian, but part of the body of Christ. We call this body, the Church.  You will bring your faith to life as you join other Christians who share your values and spiritual goals!  Membership is more than simply a statement of where you worship, it is a commitment to the mission and ministries of Oak Haven Church.  You will experience a deeper sense of significance and belonging in the family of God.

Attending one of our membership classes will give you the opportunity to interact with our Pastor and ask questions about your faith and the church.   

Classes will address the following topics: What we believe, What are mission is, How to live out your commitment to Jesus Christ in everyday life, How Oak Haven Church plans to carry out God's work. You will be excited to learn how God is using Oak Haven Church.

To become a member you will meet with a Deacon/Deaconess representative for a confirmation interview which will entail: a testimony of your salvation and baptism experience, either orally or in writing, discuss together any questions you may have, review the Oak Haven Statement of Faith and Church Covenant. Based on the representive's recommendation, you will be welcomed into membership at a worship service one to two weeks following your interview.
