CARE MINISTRIES

Caring Hands

Caring Hands mission is to bring our congregation from awareness to action on behalf of the needy in our community in the areas of food, clothing and shelter.

Food- We partner with  the local NACE foodshelf by donating food, money and time

Clothing -Donations are shared with the local NACE clothing closet and the Salvation Army. We will be having a coat collection early fall 2011.

Shelter- We partner with Family Promise of Anoka County and will be joining with Andover Christian Church to host four homeless families overnight the week of October 23-30. Volunteers will be needed for this event.

 Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles.

By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually.  We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.

This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.  As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

Come join us and find out more how you can receive God's miracle of healing in your life.

  • Meets:  Monday Evenings at 6:00 PM
  • Location: Bostrom Hall

Overcomers Outreach

Overcomers Outreach is a 12-step recovery Bible Study that meets Tuesday evenings, 7:00 PM, here at Oak Haven in Agee Hall.

Bridges

Bridges is a ministry that exists to provide fellowship, comfort and a connection with Oak Haven Church and those members of our congregation who are no longer able to get out and about. We do this by providing home visits, telephone calls, cards, etc.
