Planning
a visit?
If you are new to Oak Haven Church, heres what
you can expect when you walk in the door:
Members
of our Welcome Committee will greet you at the door.
Please feel free to tell them you are visiting and ask
them for assistance.
A large vestibule will be directly in front of the main
entrance. Coat racks conveniently line the wall for
handy use. A Welcome Center lies straight ahead. The
service desk is staffed by members of the Welcome Committee.
They will be able to give you information about our
programs, help you sign up for activities, or direct
you to the classrooms or Nursery.
The
Nursery is just down the hall from the vestibule. The
Welcome Center staff can direct you to the appropriate
room for your childs age.
The
Sanctuary is located to the left of the vestibule. The
front wall is lined with windows for you to view the
seating areas. An usher will hand you a worship program
and open the door for you to enter. Please find a seat
wherever you are comfortable. If you are hearing impaired,
a listening device is available at the sound booth to
the rear of the sanctuary.
We
begin our services by greeting those around us. A brown
registration folder is passed down the aisle for you
to register your attendance with us and leave your telephone
number, should you wish a return call.
Music
is a vital part of our worship. The lyrics to the songs
we sing will be displayed on a large screen to the left
of the front altar. You are welcome to sing along and
participate in our service celebration.
Following
the service, the pastors will stand in the vestibule
to personally greet you. But before you go, please stop
by the Welcome Center to ask about activities you may
be interested in or to leave a message for a follow-up
call. We would also love to give you an Oak Haven coffee mug just for visiting!
