Children's Pastor
I joined the staff of Oak Haven in May of 2007. I lead and oversee all our children's ministries from birth-5th grade. I have almost 20 years of experience working with kids and families in a couple of local churches, first as a lay leader, then moving into ministry staff positions. In 2000, I left a delivery job and focused on ministry and school at Bethel Seminary- earning a Masters degree in Children's and Family Ministry in 2005.
I see the primary goal of our children's ministry as building a strong spiritual foundation so children will come to know, love, serve, and worship God. Yet it must be done in the context of ministering to parents and the whole family. Effective ministry involves partnering with parents in the nurturing and development of their children towards a life long journey of faith. I look forward to loving, leading and serving both the kids and adults at Oak Haven Church.
