Family is an important
theme in my life and ministry. Shirley and I have two
married children who are part of the Oak Haven congregation.
This gives us the rare privilege of serving the Lord
with our children, and enjoying the presence of our
five grandchildren at Oak Haven’s regularly scheduled
events and services.
I am motivated
by a strong understanding of the local church as God’s
primary agent in sharing the Good News of Jesus. Jesus
said He came to serve, not to be served. So too, the
local church is at its best when its people use their
best gifts to serve in His cause!
